Secret Loser
There is the winner
there is the looser
lost and surrounded
the winner has everything
that I ever wanted to be
the loser is I
the person never meant to be
the expendable and shadow of the hero
I never knew how great this magic was
held well in this inner power of magic
to grasp or repel to try and succeed
I was born with so much, immortality
A simple kiss will do
someone like you
I look in my reflection
and cannot sever the only connection
A simple hug will do
someone like you
there in the path where I don’t understand
beyond my knowledge I don’t commend
from someone like you
Open A’s open B’s
I can never seem to get them straight
my love, my mind, tell me I will fail
will I succeed in matters that seem so hard
will I breath in matters that dim so harsh
the winner never seems to worry
I never knew how great this magic was
held well in this inner power of magic
to grasp or repel and try just try to succeed
I was born with so much immortality
immortality. . .
This Poem / Song was inspired by my Guardian Angel Sarah. The composition went through quite a few revisions, original title was Sarrial, but it was changed because it sounded to much like cereal. It’s kind of a contradicition to the lyrics because I knew who her name, but I was capturing the moment when I didn’t have a name.

No More Inspiratation
No more forever
which is what I just said
Yes its well extinguished
the end of the line is wrinkled and dead
chopped stopped into tiny little pieces
stop dropped into million stinking reasons
unbound, unbinded, the will has spoken and read
There is no more inspiration
no more inspiration
no more inspiration
I don’t know what to do when there’s no conception
even though the world when others think Ive gone insain
even so, in a mind warped by fire I can’t make anyconnection
even through the eyes of the world I don’t believe I’vebeen insain
in the eyes of the world you think how easy it is fordestruction
There is no more inspiration
no more inspiration
no more inspiration
I hate the feelings resolved around the word regret
its like a needle and thread stitching a cut together, itsinsain
I love the tingling feeling that alows me to unfold uponanother
I can see a rainbow appear after the morning showers
the sweet sound of birds chirping and a stream dippinginto the other
but still we see in the eyes of the world and think toourselves why bother?
I don’t know what to do when there’s no conception
even though the world when others think I’ve gone insain
even so, in a mind warped by fire I can’t make anyconnection
even through the eyes of the world I don’t believe I’vebeen insain
in the eyes of the world you think how easy it is fordestruction
There is no more inspiration
no more inspiration
no more inspiration
This is a song I wrote about a girl I fell in love with in 1998 while I was going to school for Mechanical Design. She was a huge inspiration to my book "The King’s Retribution." She also helped me write the short story, "An Angel Visit." The song is about knowing what’s true to your heart and then letting it slip through your fingers before realizing it will never come back.

Where It Goes
Stare into the aquarium
do you know my feeling of hate
silent death, for you see it comming
can you see the fear in your panic state
It walks to you, it crawls to you
you can’t believe its comming for you
it spins for you , it kills for you
you won’t believe its true
Look in my aquarium
can you see that it escaped
you better watch out for its comming
coming for you
you escape in fear for you life
It walks to you it crawls to you
you can’t believe its comming for you
it spins for you, it kills for you
you won’t believeits true
you won’t believe its you
You dare to look away
to see where it goes
your death is from my tarrantula
you dare to look away
to see where it goes
your death is from my tarrantula
lick your lips whipe the sweat
the clock ticks and your heart beats faster
the eight legs of death snap to you
because it wants you
you grow scared, you grow afraid
when you shiver in your sweat
what would you fear in your pathetic life?
will you ever see the sun again ?
Close your eyes and look away
just as it leaps at you and devours
your death is my tarrantula
you wont believe it’s true
you wont believe it’s you
You dare to look away
to see where it goes
your death is my tarrantula
you dare to look away
to see where it goes
your death is my tarrantula
you dare to look away
to see where it goes
your death is my tarrantula
where it goes
where it goes
This song / poem is for the American people. The intention of this composition is the injustice that lies with the American public and deception of our own government that is suppose to be upholding our values of life and freedom. The chorus was in my head while I was biking home and upset with everything in this country. The rest of the lyrics came to me while sat down in front of the computer. What would ordinary people say about America 200 years ago? I think they would be disapointed.

For the Love of Tawdry
See the diamonds in such eyes
dark goddess eyes
and hair that match such desire
You would seek her hand if you dare
because you realize she was never met for you
with the sound of a cry and you will have died
the smile that lights up an dark chasm
you will never want to let go
No no no no no no
She’s my Tawdry
she’s my heart
when I fall apart
No no no no no no
No no no no no no
she’s my Tawdry
she’s my heart
when I fall apart
No no no no no no
Look into her eyes and you will see the innosence
the heart of gold for the ones she cares
take a look into these eyes and tell me
tell me what do you see?
The love of Tawdry
You’ll seek her if you dare for she was never met for you
make her cry and you will have died
her smile light up an entire chasm
you will never want to let it go
No no no no no
She’s my Tawdry
she’s my heart
when I fall apart
No no no no no no
No no no no no no
She’s my Tawdry
she’s my heart
when I fall apart.
This is probably the sadest song / poem I’ve ever written. I was in love with this girl from Russia and we were trying to make it work. She was very beautiful and was one of the reasons I decided to learn the russian language. You could probably find one of the songs I wrote in Russian + English was about her also. Well long story short I was very rude to her and told her that the only reason she was interested in me was because she wanted citizenship to the United States. I was led astray and given bad advice from a particular person, my mother. I’m not no mama’s boy, but she wasn’t supportive of any decisions I was making and good news I won’t be listening to anybody who’s going to get in the way of my happiness. That much is certain. The Russian girl never re-contacted me again, but after a year of absolute emotional pain I’m able to move on.

It’s In Your Smile
I pass near to you as a cashier
you look at me with such sour eyes
I wonder, what is the matter?
Your so beautiful
you got everything
there is no reason
to feel failure
I come over to you
the fire to your imagination
I smile to lighten your inspiration
so listen to what I say
when I light your fire
I think its in your smile. . .
its in your smile
the truth that lies behind the white door
I think its in your smile . . .
its in your smile
the past of tears are wasted no more
I think its in your smile. . .
its in your smile
you will believe when running in the rain
its in your smile
I think its in your smile
its in your smile
I think its in yoursmile
in your smile
This song/poem is about a girl I liked a lot at a particular job I worked at. It’s one of those regrets that writers have, could’ve shoud’ve woul’ve, but didn’t and that’s exactly what it was. My ego got in the way of my heart and I wish I would have asked her out, but instead wrote this song. Sadly she quit her job at Cub Foods to be an interpreter for the deaf before I could give this composition to her. I utilized every part of her description and the job she was going into and here it is. She dyed her hair brown, but she was blonde and that’s why I called it Artic Blue. People don’t realize how beautiful the artic really is and nobody realized that she was a blonde except me and that was because she told me, but I already like her before I knew that.

One Last Time
You were there when I was sick
You were there to hold my strength
you ordered me to not give up
you helped me see through the dark
Now that your hurt, agonizing in pain
I cant’ help to believe that you won’t be around
when I need you most out here in the rain
One last time
tell me who I am
One last handshake
tell me your past
one last tear
tell me you won’t go
I want you near me forever
You were there in Mid-summer light
playing traditional games and taught a child how to bekind
helping you when you’ve helped me learned
you know I’ll ever rest
One last time
tell me who I am
One last hand shake
tell me your past
one last tear
tell me you won’t go
I want your spirit with me forever
This poem was written about my grandmother. I decided to work with my sister Ariane who was the last person with her before she passed away and had her read the poem at her funeral, Ariane almost couldn’t finish it because it was so powerful. It was a sad day and it left me in quite a bit of pain, but inspired me to write "Depression Stays In Tears" and my short stories "She Says" and "A Visit From Grandma." You have to understand that our grandma was almost like another mom.

This Is Where I Use To Live
Go on drive upon the streets
please tell me what you see?
flash backs of what lies in the past
normaly the years don’t go that fast
but they do, they do. . .
Take a look at the people I use to know
the neighborhood has changed so much
Houses immerge, people you would strive to know
that no one can remain a child no more
This is where I use to live
these were the games I played
these are the dreams that stayed
I know I wont forget you
Take a moment to speak
to look at the same old faces
reuniting with old friends
take a moment to walk through this old neighberhood
take time to notice a growing town
the trees have grown
the people are one
this was my home
This is where I use to live
these were the game I played
these are the dreams that stayed
I know I will never forget you
This song / poem was written for girl friend at the time. She was going through a time in her life where she was dis-trusting men and I wrote it and gave it to her. It was a start to a beautiful relationship and I smile when I read this.

Stay The Way You Are
I found such eyes
at once I grew to know
she found me
I felt it in my heart
from head and toe
I heard the voice enchant me and suddenly
it left me
Suddenly
I found myself, astray Far away
from your arms
Stay the way you are
I regret trying to tell you
all the ways to forget about me
and all the storms seen in this dark world
that has unfolded upon me
I’ll never know why
there are changes in such eyes
when trembling lips I tell you to
Stay the way you are
Its like the change in the weather
from Spring to Summer
like Fall to Winter
it gets cold and freezes in measure
I regret all the ways told to forget about me
and all the storms seeing in this dark world
has unfolded upon me
Suddenly
I found myself astray FarAway
from your arms
Stay the way you are Suddenly
I found myself astray FarAway
from your arms
Stay the way you are Suddenly
I found myself astray FarAway
from your arms
Stay the way you are
This song / poem is about the ultimate pain you could give a person who has done you wrong. I was visiting my chiropractor 10 years ago and we were talking about how the sublixations can lead to a lot of pain. The discs in the spine are very sensitive to the nerves. Similar to how the heart of a person is emotionaly. I thought how destructive it would be for a person to kidnap the person that hurt them emotionally, like a boyfriend or girlfriend and take a hammer and nine inch nails and begin striking the nails in certain points of thier spine. The chorus of the compositions was in my head, but the lyrics came latter after a few weeks.

SoulMate
WhenI can’t stop thinking about you
You know I won’t stop dreaming for you
sinceyour on my mind
I can’t let you go
The last words we spoke
the last week we spent together
Icould see it in your eyes that you were her
I say you were her
Sweetlove
sweetheart
crossyour heart
andhope to die
When I found out you’ve changed fom me
I feel the thunder in this chest when it strikes like lightning
it thrust me to the ground, when you strike me down
I can see your eyes looking upon me, below, where you let me down
youlet me down
Ifight this deception
uponthis one way road, a battled felt that I would die
unleashed like lightning I receive your dry kiss good-bye
Sweetlove
sweetheart
cross your heart
and hope to die
sweetlove
sweetheart
cross your heart
and hope to die
The sun sets littered with color I beg for it to stay
Iremember the days of lavender before we go our separate way
I find what eternity holds for us
you discover your identity
where I recover my sanity
you turn and say you will be there
you break away and stay away
with the dry spell you put a sway
why this came so sudden
I will never know
the secret to your heart (chorus)
A Song/Poem written around the same time as "Now It’s Time." This composition has the same meaning, which is getting revenge with the people in Junior High or High School for humiliating you. It couldn’t get more to the point.

WhyDo They Pay To Be So Blind
Ireach out from my window
touchyour heart through shattered glass
Ican’t believe what I see
thesharp thorns and stones that guard your soul
Itslike the sun peaking at the earth
throughits own reflection
They don’t know what they’re looking at
nobodyknows when to be looked down upon like nightfall
it’slike the fangs of a wolf scavenging for food
theclaws of a tiger attacking its prey with each swing
good company will do anything to rip you by the root
Why do they see so blind
it seems they don’t understand
why are they so blind to see
the beauty possessed before them
whydo they fail to hear the words coming from my mouth
thatthey can’t feel the screams in my heart
why are they so disconnected to feel the beating of their heart
that Iendure the hate laid before them
Tears reach out to me with the cry for help from the cast of fear
I won’t let you down and deceive the wickedness you hear
threats of enchantment rip you down before you realize your in shame
it takes boldness to face them, the evil ravages over your life in blame
theywill do anything to make you cry and shout names from your mouth
Whydo they see so blind
that they don’t understand
whyare they so blind to see
thebeauty possessed before them
why do they hear so blind
that they can’t feel the screams in my heart
whyare they so blind to hear
the words of wisdom that I endure before them
This Poem / Song is about destruction, anger, hate and deceit. I was having a bad day and this was the end result.

Takeadvantage
ofmy advantage
it’ll be a super advantage
take advantage
of your advantage
it’ll be a super advantage
I can feel your lips scrape up against mine
Ican feel your touch send shivers up my spine
Itsa super supper advantage
out there
it drives the rage
fright out from the cage
its the super supper advantage
I can feel your fingers scrape my chest
your eyes smile at me as I feel we will do our best
take advantage
of my advantage
it’ll be a super Advantage
take advantage
of your advantage
it’ll be a super advantage
The Flame
Can I find wisdom in these eyes
Is it the sign of hate?
Is it the sound of fear?
Where is the strength that gives me purpose to rise ?
I lost my way to your heart
in chaos of lost love
are the screams of blindness
when these become more of a struggle
and I don’t know where to start
I’ll raise my hands and call your name
Take a look in a mirror and look at who youare
searching time at what you will become
find the wisdom in your eyes
find the power in your heart to rise
remaining strength until you hear the power to rise
remain forever the flame. . . .

This song / poem is about my ex-girlfriends and girls I liked that could have turned out better than they were. Sometimes I’ve tried to think of what I could’ve done to save the relationship, but realized that it’s not the girl and the relationship that should be dwelled on, but what you learn from it to make the next relationship better and that is what’s worth keeping.
